This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) describes activities that are not allowed on URL.VU. It supplements our Terms of Service. By using url.vu you agree to follow this AUP.
1. Prohibited content
You may not use URL.VU to shorten, share, or host links that:
- Distribute malware, phishing, or other malicious software.
- Sexually exploit or endanger minors.
- Promote terrorism, real-world violence, or human trafficking.
- Contain hate speech or harass individuals or groups.
- Sell counterfeit goods or controlled substances illegal in the destination country.
- Infringe intellectual property or trade secrets you do not have rights to.
- Violate applicable laws in your jurisdiction or your visitors’ jurisdictions.
2. Prohibited behaviors
- Spamming, link-stuffing, or sending unsolicited bulk messages.
- Abusing the API or rate limits.
- Bypassing safety, abuse, or rate-limiting mechanisms.
- Interfering with or disrupting URL.VU or its users.
3. Reporting abuse
Found a link that violates this AUP? Report it here — reports are reviewed by humans and acted on quickly.
4. Enforcement
We may disable, remove, or interstitial-warn links that violate this AUP, suspend or terminate accounts, and cooperate with law enforcement where required.
5. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page.
